Terms of Service for AnchorThief

Welcome to AnchorThief! These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the AnchorThief browser extension and related services (“Service”) provided by Cherry Street Labs LLC (“we,” “our,” or “us”).
1. Subscription and Payment Terms
1.1 Subscription Services
AnchorThief offers subscription-based access to premium features. Subscriptions are processed and managed through Stripe. Subscription fees are billed based on your selected plan. You may cancel your subscription at any time via account settings.
1.2 Payment Processing
Payments are securely processed through Stripe. We do not store full payment details. Refunds are managed according to our refund policy.
2. Use of the Service
2.1 Permitted Use
Access and interact with SVG elements from accessible webpages. Download and modify SVGs for personal or commercial use only if you have the legal right to do so. Manage downloaded SVGs within your account.
2.2 User Responsibility
You are solely responsible for ensuring you have the legal right (ownership, licensing, or proper authorization) to access, download, or repurpose SVG content. AnchorThief does not verify or validate intellectual property rights, licenses, or usage terms of downloaded SVGs. Using AnchorThief to violate copyrights or intellectual property laws is strictly prohibited.
2.3 Extension Permissions
Storage: To save preferences and settings. ActiveTab: To interact with open webpages. Host permissions: To communicate with our servers.
3. User Accounts
3.1 Account Creation
A valid email address is required. Accounts are verified via email. Secure passwords are required for account protection.
3.2 Account Security
You are responsible for maintaining the security of your account. Unauthorized access must be reported immediately. We reserve the right to suspend compromised accounts.
4. Intellectual Property Rights
4.1 Our Rights
AnchorThief’s extension, codebase, infrastructure, and branding are the property of Cherry Street Labs LLC.
4.2 Third-Party Rights
AnchorThief does not claim ownership of SVGs downloaded using the Service. You must comply with all applicable copyrights, licenses, and third-party terms of service for any SVG content accessed or downloaded.
4.3 User Responsibility
You agree not to use AnchorThief to infringe on third-party copyrights, trademarks, or intellectual property rights. You acknowledge that misuse of the Service for unauthorized or illegal purposes is your sole responsibility.
5. Prohibited Activities
You may not: Use the Service to download or modify copyrighted SVGs without proper authorization. Attempt to bypass subscription restrictions. Reverse-engineer or tamper with the extension. Share account credentials with unauthorized parties. Use automated tools to exploit the Service. Violate applicable copyright or intellectual property laws.
6. Service Availability
6.1 Uptime Commitment
We strive for consistent service availability but do not guarantee uninterrupted access. Scheduled maintenance will be communicated in advance.
6.2 Technical Support
Email support is available for technical issues. Help resources and documentation are provided.
7. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access without prior notice if: You violate these Terms. You misuse the Service in ways that infringe on intellectual property. Fraudulent or abusive activity is detected.
8. Disclaimers and Limitations
8.1 Warranty Disclaimer
The Service is provided “as is” without any guarantees of accuracy, compatibility, or uptime. AnchorThief does not guarantee that any downloaded SVGs are free from intellectual property restrictions.
8.2 Limitation of Liability
We are not liable for damages resulting from your misuse of the Service, including IP or copyright infringements. Our total liability is limited to the subscription fees paid in the past 12 months.
9. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms with notice. Continued use of AnchorThief after changes indicates acceptance of the updated Terms.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by New York State law. Any disputes will be resolved through binding arbitration in New York.
